Everything is better with bacon.
A couple slices of sourdough spread with some grainy Dijon mustard mixed with honey.
Add a couple slices of that thick cut bacon fried up earlier.
And a few thin slices of Granny Smith apple on top of that, and some smoked Gouda cheese.
Grilled up with a little butter and served with homemade Roasted Tomato Soup it's the perfect lunch.
To the soup I did add a little liquid smoke and a little more cumin than called for because I like it smokey. Yum, all ways around. What's your favorite winter lunch?
